Ava Mehta

With a background in luxury tour operations, Ava’s familiarity with the travel and tourism industry is essential for her role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MMGY. Her work on product and marketing teams for a London-based tour operator gave her invaluable experience in North America and the Caribbean as well as with digital and print marketing, partner relationships and budget management.

Since joining MMGY in 2015, Ava has worked with global tourism brands including Destination Ontario, Brand USA and Discover Puerto Rico. Ava has developed strong travel-trade relationships, launched large-scale tour operator joint marketing activities and consumer-facing campaigns for her clients, and represented her clients at a number of leading industry events and conferences. During her work with Brand USA, Ava was able to increase the ROI of the Brand USA UK/Ireland MegaFam as well as the destination’s presence in Ireland while successfully recruiting over 50 product managers for the brand’s inaugural Travel Week event. In her current role as SVP, she oversees the Sales and Marketing Department, leading the career development of over 25 team members and guiding the overall strategy for the agency’s North American clients.
