At the recent Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority launched their reimagined Papua New Guinea tourism website designed and developed by MMGY. The economic development event was the perfect launchpad for a website with an objective of driving economic impact for the country and region.
Many of the previous site’s challenges were addressed with the new website, including moving the website to a mobile-friendly responsive framework, increasing the use of videos and photos to create an improved user experience, as well as updating publishing management by moving the website to an open-source content management system. But we’re not finished yet; our team is continuing to improve the performance, functionality and optimization of the website through a number of enhancements including adding additional language options and developing a Facebook Messenger chatbot.
